The following statement will help you understand how Teenshop, Inc. collects, uses and protects the personal information you provide on our website, www.teenshop.org (“site” or “website”). This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected by or submitted to our website. Our website contains links to other websites operated by third parties. Teenshop, Inc. is not responsible for the privacy practices or policies of other websites and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them.

Likewise, although Teenshop, Inc. takes reasonable steps to limit the disclosure of personal information as outlined in this Privacy Policy, Teenshop, Inc. cannot guarantee that your personal information will be secure permanently. For example, it is possible that personal information could be lost due to technical problems, or stolen. Teenshop, Inc. is not responsible for any loss or theft of personal information.

Children’s Privacy

THIS SITE IS NOT INTENDED OR DESIGNED TO ATTRACT CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13. WE DO NOT COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM ANY PERSON WE KNOW TO BE UNDER THE AGE OF 13.

 

If Teenshop, Inc. learns that it has collected information from a child under 13 years of age, Teenshop will delete such information from the website as well as from its own records and will take steps to prevent any further provision of information by that child.

 

Teenshop, Inc. is a non-profit organization and does not operate a commercial website. Nonetheless, we still take special precautions to protect the privacy of any visitor to our website who is under 13 years of age. We ask visitors under age 13 to obtain a parent or legal guardian’s permission before participating on the Teenshop site. Teenshop, Inc. will not condition a child’s participation on the Teenshop site on the disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary. If necessary, Teenshop, Inc. will provide parents or legal guardians of our under-13 visitors with access to their child’s information and the ability to delete information and to refuse to permit future collection of information.

Volunteers

If you are interested in volunteering your services to Teenshop, Inc. we will collect personal information, such as your name and contact information. This information will not be sold and will only be used by Teenshop for our volunteer selection process.

Lost or Stolen Information

You must promptly notify us if your user name or password is lost, stolen or used without your permission. In such an event, we will cancel that user name or password and update our records accordingly. We can also enable you to obtain a new user name and password at that time.
