Frequently Asked Questions
- Who can join?
The basic eligibility is girls 13 to 18, full-time students, who are not pregnant and don't have children. Other restrictions apply.
- How much does it cost?
The enrollment fee for the 2011-2012 program year is $125.00.
- How can I enroll?

- Where are chapters located?
Our Philadelphia chapters are located in the North, West, and Germantown sections of the city. We also have a chapter in Los Angeles, California. Each chapter is directed by a five member volunteer team of accomplished women.
- How often do chapters meet?
Chapters meet for three hours every two weeks on Saturday mornings from September to June during the school year. In July we have a Residential Summer Leadership Conference for rising seniors which is held at Bryn Mawr College in Montgomery County, PA.
- How can I start a Teenshop chapter?
All applicants are required to have a demonstrated track record of community service and leadership. We are not establishing any additional chapters in the city of Philadelphia. Contact Elleanor Jean Hendley for more information. founder@teenshop.org
