Shoes for Life

Shoes for Life is our National Community Service Project.

During our first project in 2011, Philadelphia chapters collected more than two thousand pairs of shoes. Prior to distribution day, we contacted local social service agencies to inform their clients about this opportunity to receive free gently worn and new shoes for women, men, and children. Several local businesses and organizations supported our efforts. For fun, Teenshop created a competition among the chapters. A ‘bragging rights’ trophy was presented to the chapter that collected the most shoes, and gift certificates to the top three girls who brought in the most pairs.
