20th Anniversary Gala

It was indeed a momentous event as family and friends of Teenshop gathered to help us celebrate twenty years of service during an elegant cotillion-style gala at Philadelphia's First District Plaza. To the delight of our audience, teens shared their Teenshop experiences through creative performances that included song, dance, and poetic expressions.

Program highlights included presentation of the Board of Director's Hall of Fame Award to Sharmain Matlock-Turner, President of the Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition of which Teenshop is a partner program, and the Teenshop Founder's Award to Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, our pro bono counsel under the direction of firm partner Stephanie Franklin-Suber, Esq., and our first national Academic Scholarship to a graduating senior who had a perfect 4.0 average.
